Child Health and Social Determinants: Ghana

Abstract

For my STEP project, I participated in a program with Child Family Health International. In the summer of 2019 I traveled to Accra, Ghana where I spent 4 weeks shadowing physicians and nurses at a public children's hospital. In a foreign culture, I was able to encounter various clinical situations and better expand my understanding of global health.
