Two of these transitions a $^{1}\Sigma_{g}^{+} \leftarrow X^{1}\Sigma_{g}^{+}$ in $N_{2}$ and $B^{1}\Sigma^{+} \leftarrow X^{1}\Sigma^{+}$ exhibit large deviations from the behavior predicted by the Born approximation. These deviations have been observed for transitions which have the same term symbol in ground and excited states. en_US dc.format.extent 70430 bytes dc.format.mimetype image/jpeg dc.language.iso English en_US dc.publisher Ohio State University en_US dc.title COLLISION CROSS SECTIONS FOR SEVERAL TRANSITIONS IN $N_{2}$ AND CO en_US dc.type article en_US
