dc.description.abstractBands have been assigned to the three fundamental vibrational modes of $Li^{2}CN$ and $Li^{6}CN$ in different matrices. The possibility of lithium cyanide being present as LiNC is considered. Bands have also been assigned to some of the fundamental vibrational modes of the dimeric species present by making use of isotopic substitution.en_US
