MICROWAVE SPECTRUM OF BENZOYL FLUORIDE
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
The microwave spectrum of $C_{6}H_{5}COF$ has been examined in the region 26.5-40.0 GHz. Rotational lines corresponding to the ground and seven excited torsional states, two other vibrational modes and second excited state of one of these `other’ modes have been assigned. Height of the potential barrier hindering internal rotation of the ---COF group and the various vibrational frequencies have been determined from relative intensity measurements.
