The spectra of the series of perfluoro-normal paraffins have been measured in the vapor phase between 2000 and 1200 \AA up to $C_{7}$. The observed trends are discussed and compared to those found in the spectra of n-alkanes. Perfluorocycloparaffins have very different spectra. An attempt is made to interpret them by comparison to the related cycloparaffins. As many as four stable excited states are observed in the spectrum of perfluorocyclopropane.en_US
