The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum is the home of the world's largest collection of cartoon and comic art, right here at OSU! We have recently relocated into a beautiful new facility in Sullivant Hall, where we serve the student body, the public, researchers and fans in our reading room as well as display innovative and exciting exhibits in the 3 galleries that comprise our free museum.
Description:
IMPACT. 1: The Cartoon Library strives to serve both the student body and the public with exciting events, including comics-making workshops, Girl Scout Troop outings, cartoonist lectures, comics history classes, and more! -- 2. Our museum features three state-of-the-art galleries which host three rotating exhibits each year, highlighting work from our archive and beyond. -- 3. Our library has enjoyed a massive following from our local comics community and beyond- with an active blog, twitter, and Facebook page, our average reported statistical reach is over 50,000 viewers!
