PURE ROTATIONAL LINES OF HYDROGEN $FLUORIDE^{*}$
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
“The pure rotational absorption spectrum of gaseous hydrogen fluoride is presently being examined in this laboratory. Fifteen rotational lines in the vibrational ground state have been observed, ranging from the transition $J(1) \rightarrow J(2)$ up to and including the transition $J(15)\rightarrow J(16)$. The frequencies of these lines have been measured and the rotational constants evaluated. The conditions of observation and calibration will be discussed. Equivalent width determinations and line shape studies are in process.”
