The $\nu_{3}$ fundamental was found at 3017, 3016, and $3018\;cm^{-1}$ in oxygen, nitrogen, argon liquid solutions, respectively, and at $3023\;cm^{-1}$ in the clear crystalline argon solution. The observed bands were symmetric with half widths of 21, 19, 27, and $27\;cm^{-1}$ for the oxygen, nitrogen, argon liquid solutions, and argon solid solution respectively.
