THE INFRARED SPECTRA OF NF, NCl, AND NBr
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
“Infrared spectra have been observed for $FN_{3},\;ClN_{3}$, and $BrN_{3}$ suspended in an Ar matrix at $4^{\circ} K$. Photolysis of these solid solutions has been shown to yield the corresponding species NF, NCl, and NBr, for which infrared spectra have also been observed. Evidence is presented for the existence of the halimino species in a ground triplet state.”
