OPTICAL OBSERVATION ON THE STARK EFFECT OF $OH^{*}$
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
“Spectra of the ultraviolet bands of OH in electric fields of 100,000 volts per centimeter have been obtained at a dispersion of 0.5 {\AA} per mm. First order Stark splittings and field induced transitions are observed. The electric dipole moment for the ground electron state of OH is deduced from the observed splittings. “
