THE MICROWAVE SPECTRUM, BARRIER TO INTERNAL ROTATION, QUADRUPOLE COUPLING CONSTANTS, AND DIPOLE MOMENT OF \emph{cis} 1-CHLOROPROPYLENE
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
“The study of the barriers to internal rotation in the fluoropropylene series has revealed a relatively low barrier to internal rotation of the methyl group in \emph{cis} 1-fluoropropylene. As an extension of this work the microwave spectrum of \emph{cis} 1-chloropropylene has been studied in the region 8-34,000 Mc. The barrier to internal rotation of the methyl group was determined to he lowered to 620 cal. The quadrupole coupling constants and the dipole moment have also been measured.”
