This feature "ЛѢТОПИСЬ" ('Chronicle') reports on recent events in the field of Early Slavic studies, e.g., celebrations, conferences, symposia, announcements of forthcoming colloquia, and past study groups, etc.
The program of papers for the November 7th meeting of the Slavic and East European Medieval Study Group is provided: Y. Burns (London) "Lection Systems and Rubrics in the Study of Greek and Slavonic Gospel Manuscripts"; Simon Franklin (London) "'Philosophy' and 'Philosophers' in 12th Century Russia"; and M. MacRobert "Linguistic Variation in the the Slavic Documents of Rumania." The editors note that they hope to print the abstracts of these papers in a later issue. Note that the abstracts of Burns and MacRobert appear in Polata knigopisnaia 6 (December 1982): 72-74, although there C.M. MacRobert's title appears as “Linguistic Variation in Roumanian State Documents.”
