dc.description.abstract“The $\nu_{2}$ vibration rotation band of $ND_{8}$ has been observed in high resolution with a vacuum prism-grating spectrometer. The analysis of the rotational fine structure of this band will be presented and the presence of ``giant’’ $l$-type doubling will be shown. The bending fundamental of NOCl, $\nu_{8}$ which occurs at about $30\mu$ has been examined in high resolution. No rotational fine structure has been observed. The results will be discussed in relation to the work by Eberhardt and Burke [J. Chem. Phys. 20, 529 (1952)].”en_US
