dc.description.abstractThe infrared emission spectrum of HC1 excited by an electric discharge has been measured in the frequency region $450 cm^{-1}$ to $750 cm^{-1}$. Rotational transitions of the ground and first excited vibrational states to $J = 40$ are observed. The measurements permit calculation of the spectroscopic constant H.en_US
