DISPERSION AND ELECTRIC DIPOLE MOMENT OF GASEOUS HYDROGEN CHLORIDE
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
Study of the dispersion in the 3.4$\mu$ and $\lambda.{f}\mu$ vibration-rotation bands, using a Twyman interferometer in connection with a grating spectrometer. Determination of the coefficients $M_{0}$, $M_{1}$, and $M_{2}$ in the expansion of the dipole moment with respect to the variation ($r-r_{e}$) of the internuclear distance. {M}(2)={M}_{0}+{M}_{1}({r}-{r}_{e})+{M}_{2}({r}-{r}_{e})^{2} The data is from the research of F. Legay of our laboratory.
