INFRARED SPECTRA OF THE COMBUSTION STAGES IN THE LOW TEMPERATURE COMBUSTION OF DIETHYL ETHER
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
A burner has been constructed in which a laminar two-stage visible flame is produced with a temperature range of $600^{\circ}$ to $900^{\circ} K$. Optical arrangement allows absorption and emission spectra to be taken at stages of the combustion process, and intermediates to the reaction to be observed. Combination of the two spectra permits calculations of emissivities and temperatures.
