The woodcut was printed in black ink on Rives Heavyweight paper at Logan Elm Press, for David Smith on Art and Tradition. A proof [CMA 2001.034.006], separate from the rest of the keepsake, is titled with Smith's name and has more background woodblock texture surrounding the sculptor's head.
