Sidney Chafetz (1922-2013) was a prolific printmaker whose thirty-four-year career at The Ohio State University inspired numerous burgeoning artists, while bringing delight to print enthusiasts and collectors alike. To honor the artist’s legacy, the Sidney Chafetz Artwork Trust undertook a project in 2013 to publish a catalogue raisonné of prints at The Ohio State University’s Knowledge Bank, with the support of the Columbus Museum of Art and the Ohio Arts Council.
