Gay Hadley discusses the positions she held at Ohio State as well as her role as a woman administrator at OSU. She began as Associate Director in the Office of Continuing Education in 1982, then later became Associate Executive Officer for Career Development in the Office of Human Relations. She then served as Acting Associate Vice President for Human Relations, and finally as the Assistant Vice President in the Office of Human Resources. Before Ohio State, Gay ran an agency called "Options," a career and educational counseling agency for adults. Later, she started the Bridge Program, which enabled Ohio State staff to work toward a college degree. She also served on the Council on Academic Excellence for Women, which led to the creation of the Critical Difference for Women scholarship program. In addition, she co-chaired OSU's first Campus Campaign.
