dc.description.abstractIn the course of trapping old fields on 3, 4, and 5 December 1962, fifteen Sorex cinereus were caught in Butler Township, Mercer County, 1.6 miles north of the town of Coldwater, Ohio. This is an extension 85 miles to the southwest of the range for the species in Ohio. Included are reproductive data, weights, and measurements, as well as a discussion of subspeciation.en_US
