This item is the meeting minutes of the Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University held on April 1, 2005 at the Ohio State University Longaberger Alumni House, Columbus, Ohio. Summit Shah and Alison McCartney introduced Jo Ann Davidson into The Dr. Mabel Gilbert Freeman Mortar Board Chapter of Mortar Board National Senior Honor Society. President Karen A. Holbrook presented the President's Report, focusing on models of a faculty career and how diversity in higher education depends on increased flexibility. Stacy Lewis was awarded the Student Recognition Award. The committee reports were then presented. The consent agenda included the following: Security Clearance Exemption, Naming of Atrium, Change in An Ohio Eminent Scholar Title, Honorary Degree, Personnel Actions, Amended Resolution in Memoriam, Report of Research Contracts and Grants, Report on University Development, Approval to Enter into Design and Construction Contracts, Easement. The meeting concluded with the Faculty Leadership Presentation. The appendices included fund details and campus maps.
