James L. Murphy, "'O. T.,' The 'Other' Baldoser," Roseville Legend, (Spring 2009), pp. 1, 4.
An unrecorded Roseville, Ohio, cookingware manufacturing company operated by O. T. Baldoser is documented in an 1897 order for Gavitt's System Regulator, a patent medicine manufactured by Dr. William W. Gavitt of Topeka, Kansas. The medical company planned to use Baldoser's letter as a testimonial but it is not known whether this was done. O. T. Baldoser was the elder brother of E. A. (Elmer Austin) Baldoser (1869-1948), partner in a better known Roseville cookingware pottery, that of Baldoser and Pace.
