Mundos Especulares is a critical analysis of film's role in post-dictatorship Argentina. The work outlines the trajectory of fiction and documentary films from 1985-2007, focusing on epistemological issues of representing trauma, as well as historical issues of memory, and political participation. Therefore, the films are analyzed within the context of larger theoretical discussions on representation and memory, as well as the context of that specific history's role in contemporary Argentina discourse and politics.en_US
