dc.description.abstractThe high resolution LIF spectrum of the ${K_{a}}^{\prime} = 0 - {K_{a}}^{\prime\prime} = 1, {K_{u}}^{\prime} = 1 - {K_{a}}^{\prime\prime} = 0$ and ${K_{a}}^{\prime} = 2 - {K_{a}}^{\prime\prime} = 1$ subbands of $\tilde{A}^{2}B_{2} - \tilde{X}^{2} A_{1}$ transition of $CaNH_{2}$ have been recorded at high resolution (- 50 MHz FWHM) using a supersonic molecular beam laser ablation spectrometer. A total of 275 transitions were observed, assigned and fitted $(rms = 0.0033 cm^{-1})$ to a doublet asymmetric rotor model. The determined spectroscopic parameters are $(in cm^{-1})$: $\begin{eqnarray*}T_{\infty} &=& 15464.3669, A^{\prime} = 11.4487, B^{\prime} = 0.3071. C^{\prime} = 0.2992. \varepsilon_{ax}^{\prime} = 8.2375, \varepsilon_{bb}^{\prime} = 0.0052, \varepsilon_{cc}^{\prime} = 0.0557,\\ \Delta_{k}^{\prime} &=& -0.0608, A^{\prime\prime} = 13.0574, B^{\prime\prime} = 0.3005, C^{\prime\prime} = 0.2928, \varepsilon_{dd}^{\prime\prime} = 0.0. \varepsilon_{bb}^{\prime\prime} = 0.0011, \varepsilon_{cc}^{\prime\prime} = 0.0011 \end{eqnarray*}$ The ground state parameters are only in moderate agreement with the previously determined $parameters^{1}$. Stark measurements of the $^{p}P_{11}(1.5)$ and $^{p}Q_{12}(0.5)$ transitions enabled a dipole moment for the $\tilde{X}^{2} A_{1}$ state of 1.74(1) Debyes to be determined. An interpretation of the unusually large spin-rotation parameters will be given.en_US
