dc.description.abstract | The vibrational Circular Dichroism and absorption spectra of all the water soluble natural amino acids and some less common ones in the carbon-hydrogen stretching region have been recorded. $\Delta c$ and c as well as $\Delta c/\ell$ values have been measured and compared; these compounds have been catagorized in different groups according to their spectra similarities. A general correlation between the absolute configuration and the VCD spectra of these amino acids has been observed. | en_US |
