HIGH RESOLUTION LASER STARK AND FOURIER SPECTROSCOPY OF DBr IN THE $6 \mu m$ REGION
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
The very close coincidence between the 1-0 P(1) line of $D^{79}Br$ and the 8-7 P(13) laser line of $^{13}C^{18}O$ has allowed the observations of a laser Stark inverse Lamb dip spectrum resolving the Br hyperfine structure of the transition. The energy pattern of the hyperfine transitions, relative to the laser line, is such that mainly double resonance dips are observed. The dipole moment in the $\upsilon=1$ level results from the analysis. A Fourier spectrum of the 1-0 band of DBr, accurately calibrated, has also been recorded in relationship with the laser Stark analysis.
