dc.description.abstractThe Magnetic Circular Dichroism has been measured In the vacuum ultraviolet region (1900 -- 1400 {\AA}). The previously suggested location of che 0-0 band of the second $\Pi - \Pi^{*}$ transition (B state) at 1849 {\AA} was confirmed. Signals of different signs have been obtained in the series of bands belonging to this state. The assignment of the new transition in this region will be discussed. Sharp ``A” term signals were obtained for the first Rydberg transition and Che vibrational progression built on it. These results allow an unequivocal assignment of the first Rydberg transition. The magnetic moment of this transition has been determined from the MCD measurements.en_US
