Abstract

A detailed rotational analysis of the strongly perturbed $^{1}II - ^{1}\Sigma$ band system of AsN will be described. The following B values have been obtained: $B^{\prime\prime}_{v-0} = 0.5437, B""_{v-1} = 0.5401, B""_{v-2} = 0.5364$, and $B^{\prime}_{v-1} = 0.4945$. These values may change slightly as more bands are analyzed. A complete list of the rotational constants will be presented and the perturbations involved in the transition will be discussed.
