CONSIDERATION OF THE PHOTOMETRIC EFFECTS OF AN ELECTRONIC PHASE NULL SYSTEM

A new photometric system, utilizing an electronic phase null principle, has been developed which has application to various spectrophotometric instruments. Previous optical null and electronic null systems are reviewed. The electronic phase null system is described. Consideration is given to the ways by which the new system may contribute to better photometric performance.
