dc.description.abstractWe report on a technically improved version of our MB-MWFT spectrometer. It is now possible to cover a range from 2 to 26.5 GHz without changing hardware, Furthermore new microwave components and quadrature detection enabled us to increase the sensitivity of the spectrometer. For special applications we modified a nozzle to produce electric discharges within the nozzle orifice. This way we were able to obtain spectra of free radicals and of molecules in highly exited vibrational states (up to $6000 cm^{-1}$) As an example for the effectiveness of the spectrometer we will present results of our investigations of some aromatic Van der Waals complexes like fluorobenzene-argon and 1,2-difluourobenzene-argon.en_US
