dc.description.abstractRoom temperature intensity measurements of individual lines for $^{12}C^{16}O_{2}(10^{0}0 - 01^{1}0)$ and $(03^{3}0 - 02^{2}0)$ as well as $^{12}C^{16}O^{17}O (01^{1}0 - 00^{0}0)$ transitions have been completed using a lead salt tunable diode laser system. Line intensities are reproduced to better than 6\% (30) under completely independent experimental conditions. In these experiments absorption pathlengths are varied from 2 cm to 100m as appropriate, and intensity measurements are conducted on samples with total pressures between 0.01 Torr and 6 Torr. Intensities reported here for $^{12}C^{16}O^{17}O$ and for hot band transitions of the major isotope differ significantly from those previously reported.
