HIGH RESOLUTION ANALYSIS OF THE $\nu_{1}$ AND $\nu_{3}$ BANDS OF SILANE, $xSIH_{4} (x = 28, 29, 30)^\dag$
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
The infrared absorption spectrum of $SiH_{4}$ has been recorded from $2100 cm^{-1}$ to $2300 cm^{-1}$ at a resolution of $0.017 cm^{-1}$ and deconvoluted $0.006 cm^{-1}$. Approximately 800 $\nu_{3}$ lines have been assigned and analyzed through J = 18 including the intense $\nu_{1} – \nu_{3}$ interaction. The constants for $^{28}SiH_{4}$ are in good agreement with previous $work.^{1}$ The $^{29}SiH_{4}$ and $^{30}SiH_{4}$ results will be presented as well. The Coriolis constant, $\zeta^{z}_{3}$ for each isotope is in good agreement with force field $calculations.^{2}$
