HIGH RESOLUTION INFRARED SPECTRUM OF $CD_{3}F$: THE $\nu_{1}(A_{1})$ AND $2\nu_{5}(A_{1})$ PARALLEL $BANDS^{*}$
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
The $\nu_{1}(A_{1})$ and $2\nu_{5}(A_{1})$ bands have been recorded on the University of Tennessee five meter Littrow spectrometer with resolutions from 0.010 - $0.030 cm^{-1}$. Approximately 200 lines in $\nu_{1}$ have been assigned. The band is perturbed above J = 12 but appears normal below this except for the K = 5 subband. Preliminary analysis of $\nu_{1}$ for the lines with $J <15, K<10$ yields $\nu_{0} = 2090.820 \pm 0.004$ $cm^{-1}, \alpha^{A}_{1} = (A^{\prime\prime} -A^{\prime}) = (2.040 \pm 0.006) \times 10^{-2}$ $cm^{-1}$ and $\alpha^{B}_{1} = (B^{\prime\prime} B^{\prime}) = -(1.815 \pm 0.020) \times 10^{-3}$ $cm^{-1}$. The $2\nu_{5}$ band near $2115 cm^{-1}$ has also been assigned. Further analysis of these two bands including a GSCD analysis will be reported.
