MILLIMETER AND SUBMILLIMETER SPECTRUM OF $HNO_{3}$
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
Nitric acid is an observable constituent of the upper atmosphere and important in a wide range of technological applications. We have observed a large number of rotational transitions in the millimeter and submillimeter region. A centrifugal distortion analysis of these transitions has been performed that makes possible accurate calculation of the rotational transition frequencies of all thermally populated levels.
