Abstract

The infrared and Raman spectra of gaseous and solid difluorophosphine and difluorophosphine-$d_{1}$ have been recorded. The six fundamental vibrations have been assigned on the basis of depolarization values, infrared band contours and group frequencies. A normal coordinate calculation was carried out. The infrared and Raman spectra of gaseous and solid methoxydifluorophosphine and methoxy-$d_{3}$-difluorophasphine have been recorded. The 18 fundamental vibrations have been assigned on the basis of depolarization values, infrared band contours, and group frequencies. The results will be compared to some other methoxy compounds recently studied.
