Cradle is a digital platform created for movers that wish to move efficiently and sustainability. The Cradle system was missing a crucial step of the moving process - buying and selling local used furniture items to reduce waste and lessen consumer environmental impact. Sites to buy and sell used furniture, like Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp, are behind in all aspects of online thrifting, overall experience, and visual design. There is an opportunity to create an improved space where the environment, convenience, credibility, and design aesthetic are deeply considered and understood. This research distinction explores the implementation of buying and selling used furniture in the Cradle experience.
