dc.description.abstract The far infrared spectra of $H_{2}SiSH_{2}CH_{2}$ and its $d_{4}$ analog have been recorded in the $20-100 cm^{-1}$ region. A large number of bands corresponding to the puckering mode were observed for each compound. The data are correlated with infrared combination bands and low-frequency Raman lines in order to obtain the potential energy function. A barrier of inversion of $88 cm^{-1}$ was determined. en_US
