Title: MICROWAVE SPECTRUM OF METHYLENEIMINE $CH2 =$NH Creators: Lovas, F. J.; Kirchhoff, William H.; Johnson, Donald R. Issue Date: 1972 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: The microwave spectrum of the molecular transient methyleneimine has been investigated. A detailed centrifugal distortion analysis has resulted in reliable predictions of the microwave spectrum for the ground vibrational state of the species $^{12}CH_{2}$$^{14}NH up to levels involving J=40 for the frequency range 1 to 200 GHz. Transitions have also been observed for ^{13}CH_{2}$$^{14}NH$, $^{12}CH_{2}$$^{15}NH$, and several deuterated forms. A variety of production systems will be discussed along with structural conclusions and possible astronomical implications.
