Title: SELF BROADENED AND $N_{2}$ BROADENED HALF-WIDTHS OF $N_{2}O$ Creators: Toth, R. A. Issue Date: 1971 Abstract: The self broadened and $N_{2}$ broadened half widths of $N_{2} O$ in the $10^{\circ} 1-00^{\circ} 0$ and $02^{\circ} 1-00^{\circ} 0$ bands have been measured at $297^{\circ} K$ with a resolution of $0.03 cm^{-1}$. The experimental results are compared with half-widths calculated from Anderson’s impact theory as extended by Tsao and Curnutte. Best-fit values for the quadrupole moments and hard-sphere diameters of $N_{2} O$ and $N_{2}$ are listed and compared with previous values.
