Title: $CO_{2}$ FERMI POLYADS AT 5$\mu$ Creators: Mantz, A. W.; Heath, W. B.; Lange, J.; Rao, K. Narahari Issue Date: 1971 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: Bands of $CO_{2}$ involving members of the Fermi polyads (11 $^{1}$0, 03 $^{1}$0), (20 $^{\circ}$0), 12 $^{\circ}$0, 04 $^{\circ}$0) and ($12^{2}$0, $04^{2}$0) have been recorded in the 5-6 micron region using an absorption path of 186 meters. The precision in the data obtained allowed a more critical discussion of the molecular constants for $CO_{2}$, in particular $x_{11+}$. These newer constants have also been useful in calculating improved values for the positions of some of the $CO_{2}$ laser emission lines.
