Title: l-TYPE RESONANCE IN THE $v_{5}+v_{10}$ BAND OF CYCLOPROPANE Creators: Maki, A. G. Issue Date: 1971 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: The $v_{5}+ v_{10}$ band of cyclopropane centered at $2089.52 cm^{-1}$ has been measured and analyzed taking into account the l-type resonance effect described by Cartwright and $Mills.^{1}$ The J-structure of five Q-branches of this band were resolved and the $^{P} P$ and $^{R}$R-transitions were identified up to J = 25 and K = 25. A least squares fit of more than 300 well resolved transitions gave a set of band constants which reproduced the measurements with a standard deviation of $0.003 cm^{-1}$. The analysis confirms the l-type resonance treatment given by Cartwright and Mills and shows that their band contour fit gave remarkably accurate constants for this band. The 2$v_{10}$(E) band has also been observed at $2054.5 cm^{-1}$. Description: $^{1}$G. J. Cartwright and I. M. Mills. J. Mol. Spectrosc. 34, 415 (1970).""
