Abstract: The absorption spectra of $O^{16}_{2}$ and $O^{18}_{2}$ have been photographed at high resolution in the region from 1740-1900 \AA. The Schumann-Runge band system is seen from $v^{1}$ = 6 to the dissociation limit. The spectra of the two molecules have been analyzed and the molecular constants determined, thereby enabling a comparison of the upper states (B $^{3}\Sigma^{+}_{u}$). In addition Rydberg-Klein-Rees potential curves have been calculated and compared for the two isotopes.
