Issue Date: 1963 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: “The microwave spectra of $(CH_{3})_{2}CHBr^{79},(CH_{3})_{2}CHBr^{31}$, and $(CH_{3})_{2} C^{13} HBr^{79}$ have been examined and a number of rotational transitions assigned. Preliminary values of the rotational constants for the bromine-79 species are A =8030.6 Mc. B=2917.67 Mc, and C=2295.38 Mc. The CBr bond distance computed by the substitution method is 1.902 {\AA}. The quadrupole coupling constants along the principal inertial axes, as obtained by first-order calculations, are $\chi_{aa} = 477.9\;MC\;,\chi_{bb} = -262.9$ Mc, and $\chi_{ee} = -215.1$ Mc for the Br-79 species.
