Title: INFRARED SPECTRUM OF BERYLLIUM CHLORIDE VAPOR
Creators: Buchler, Alfred; Klemperer, William
Issue Date: 1957
Abstract: The infrared spectrum of beryllium chloride vapor has been measured from 2000 to $200 cm^{-1}$. The vibrations of the linear triatomic molecule $BeCl_{2}$ are assigned as $v_{3} = 1113$ $cm^{-1}$ and $v_{2} = 484$ $cm^{-1}$. Several vibrations of the polymeric species present in the vapor in equilibrium with the liquid have been measured.
