Issue Date: 1957 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: “The infrared spectrum of PCl in the vapour state and as a solution in $CS_{2}$ has been obtained. The Raman spectrum of a solution of $PCI_{5}$ in benzene has been obtained photoelectrically together with depolarization ratios. A complete vibrational assignment has been made on the basis of $D_{3{b}}$ symmetry, and force constants have been calculated.
