Abstract: In this interview Dr. William Studer discusses his tenure at Ohio State, from his first appointment as Director of Libraries in 1977 to his retirement from this position in 1999. He takes time to speak on various developments, both technical and philosophical, in the world of academic libraries, as well as his hopes for future developments and innovations.
