Abstract: Reception and program at The Ohio State University Faculty Club for the opening of the exhibition: the Artist / Computer Collaboration: The Lillian Feldman Schwartz Collection of The Ohio State University Libraries. The exhibition ran through December 14, 2007 at the Faculty Club. Lillian Schwartz is widely recognized as one of the most significant figures in the development of what is now routinely referred to as "computer art". The exhibition offered a sampling of the wide range of Schwartz's works. The focus was primarily on two-dimensional works - early paintings and collages dating to before her work with computers began, through works from 1968 to the present done on the computer. The reception included a showing of a segment of the film "An Interview with Lillian Schwartz" by Martijn van Boven (presented by Sonic Acts XI - The Anthology of Computer Art Festival, Amsterdam, 2006). The entire film by Martijn van Boven is available at: http://www.474746.org/?page_id=155
