Ravanica monastery was founded by Prince (Knez) Lazar Hrebeljanović (r. 1971 -- June 19, 1989). Built c. 1377
frescoes c. 1385. Located 11 km. from Ćuprija, where is the memorial church and the mausoleum of Prince Lazar.
