Abstract: The book The Destruction of the Bismarck, written by Holger Herwig and David Bercuson in 2001, has attracted the attention of filmmaker James Cameron. Dr. Bercuson and Dr. Herwig provided historical expertise to James Cameron in the development of a film on the Bismarck which was released in Winter 2002 on the Discovery Channel.
