Abstract: A comprehensive survey of the ichthyoplankton of the Scioto River near Omega, Ohio, was undertaken during the spring, summer and early fall of 1981. Twenty-six taxa offish larvae and young of year were collected. Dominant taxa included catostomid larvae, common carp larvae, channel catfish young of year, Notropis larvae and other unidentified cyprinid larvae. Although most of the sampling effort was at night, comparisons between temporally-comparable day and night collections were made and some differences in species composition and/or abundance were noted.
